Natural Areas, Parks and Events Programming

Firewood Program
Through permitted access, residents may collect firewood from designated areas within County parks. This aids forest health through responsible removal of downed trees while providing residents with an affordable, sustainable source of firewood.

Outdoor Education & Recreation Program
Join in on family-friendly events that connect Benton County residents with the outdoors through hands-on learning and fun in our local parks and natural areas. Programming focuses on rural and underserved youth and families.

Habitat Conservation Program
Benton County Conservation work is all about bringing native prairies back to life — restoring rare habitats and helping species like the Fender’s Blue Butterfly and the Willamette Daisy thrive for generations to come.
