Disclaimer
By submitting your logo(s) (“Submission”, “Design” or “Logo”) to the Benton County Fair & Rodeo logo contest (Design Roundup), you hereby agree to the following terms and conditions:
- Benton County is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, illegible or otherwise unusable entries, including entries that are lost or unusable due to computer, internet or electronic problems.
- Benton County reserves the right to cancel or modify the logo design contest by alternate means if fraud or technical failure is determined at any time by the County, including after the submission window has closed.
- Benton County reserves the right to modify submissions for clarity, use context (alternate color palettes or adjust for simplicity) or other reasons deemed appropriate.
- Full release licensing: Upon submission, you grant an irrevocable license for use of all rights, title, and interest to Benton County. This means Benton County may use submitted logos for any purpose, including but not limited to promotional materials, social media, websites, reports, and other county-related purposes, in perpetuity.
- No Compensation: You acknowledge and agree that no financial compensation or other consideration will be provided for the use of your design(s) beyond stated prize package(s).
- Original, Unaltered Work: You affirm that the logo(s) you submit are your original work. No third party may own or control any materials the design contains, and the design must not infringe upon the trademark, copyright, moral rights, intellectual rights, or rights of privacy of any entity or person. Graphics generated by AI are not allowed.
- Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Benton County from and against any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your submission, including but not limited to any copyright or privacy disputes.
